The Lab
Where records are engineered
A 24-track hybrid analog/digital studio in Amsterdam — the birthplace of every GTRAMX Music release.
Process
How the sound is built
01
Concept
A film reference, a photograph, or a chord loop from a jam session — every record starts as an emotional image.
02
Sound Design
Modular patches, sampled ensembles from Prague, and re-amped drum loops — no two records use the same palette.
03
Arrangement
Composed like a short film: three acts, one climax, and a coda that lands the crowd back on earth.

Producer Notes
On making 'Voltage'
Voltage started with a broken tape machine and a Prophet-10 patch left running for 6 hours. What came out was the intro to the album's title track. From there, the rest was a slow build — 14 months, three cities, one very patient mix engineer.
